Finally, it's back in our hands.

With intense interest all of us in Room 19 followed the rugby.  We talked about the different teams - South Africa, Fiji, Russia and especially the All Blacks
We are all so proud of our All Blacks.  We also know with Determination - our current value, and hard work you can achieve anything.

We have had a very busy and productive term 3.  First we were busy during our Maths Week.  Then we performed our prodution about Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf.  After this we had our trip to the Wynyard Quarter and the Viaduct to prepare us for our new inquiry about Structures.  We have worked hard with our maths, reading and writing and we have enjoyed doing lots of art.
CD has worked especially hard all term making an effort  with all his work, and he has been a very helpful class member.  CD always gives his BEST.  Well done CD!  We are proud of you!

Structures

What is their purpose and what are they made of?

To kick start our new Inquiry we visited the new Wynyard Quarter and the Viaduct the day before the Rugby World Cup.  We took a lot of photo's of structures that looked like unusal shaped buildings, bridges, and statues.  We had such a great time.
Can you identify some of these structures?
