The most coolest day at school ever!

Today  we had an amazing  experience the  police  helicopter  came  to   Botany  Downs School. We saw it in the distance it was spectacular . When it landed I felt shocked
because I thought it would fly off and hit me. We had to go to the hall. The police man told us about what its like to fly a police helicopter.  After that  they took off “thud thud thud” went the helicopter it was amazing. It was breezy because the propellers blew the wind towards us.  CD

On Tuesday we had the most exciting morning ever!  The Eagle police helicopter landed on our school field.  This was for our new topic all about how Everyone contributes something of value to society.
One of the police officer's then talked to us about what is involved in his job.

Fire! Fire! Fire!

We used coloured paper to make our burning buildings.



   



We had to add a piece of the fire fighters equipment somewhere in our art work.





   

We definately know that if we are in a dangerous situation like this, we need to

Get Down, Get Low and Get Out Fast!

We will go to our safe meeting place and wait there.

We also know the difference between tools and toys and to not play with matches, lighters and candles.

If we see any of these tools we will give them to an adult straight away.

We have been learning about being Firewise, and we know we will be safe and know what to do in a fire.

A fantastic effort was made by MH all term who always strives to do her best in all she does!

Falling into Our Books JK

Suddenly I fell in a yard. I saw the Party fairies! But Honey the sweet fairy. I saw my best friend Georgia. Suddenly Georgia turned into Honey the sweet fairy and I turned into the sweets! Georgia asked "What is happening!" JK

I was sleeping. I woke up. I went to the living room and I read a book. It was a goosebump book. I was feeling that I was falling into my book. I was a new charcter in the story and my name was Billy the superhero. Then I saved the people. The end. BR

I was in a castle, with the lovely Princess Kate and Prince William. Me and Meilin where worried that we would stay in the book but Kate was not a princess yet because they had to get married. When we went into the castle, they both came and asked me and Meilin if we want to be a flower girls, and we said "yes". We were very excited about. CWR

I fell on the hard floor. When I got up I noticed that I had a green lightsaber. I ran up to the super battle droids and destroyed them. Then we looked for the evil Darth Vader. When we thought we saw him, we started to attack but it was more super battle droids shooting the Clone's. CD
